The Devil Bat (1941)

Dr. Carruthers feels bitter at being betrayed by his employers, Heath and Morton, when they became rich as a result of a product he devised. He gains revenge by electrically enlarging bats and sending them out to kill his employers' family members by instilling in the bats a hatred for a particular perfume he has discovered, which he gets his victims to apply before going outdoors. Starring Bela Lugosi, Suzanne Kaaren, and Dave O'Brien. Maybe the Devil Bat is really a Chupacabra!

Blonde Savage (1947)

Diamond mine owner Mark Harper hires pilot Steve Blake (Leif Erickson) and his pal Hoppy Owens (Frank Jenks)to search for a hidden jungle village from which the natives have made trouble for his mine operations. They crash near the village and discover that Meelah (Gale Sherwood), a white girl brought up by the natives after her parents had been killed for their property by Harper, is the head of the village. Returning to the mine, Harper, already suspicious of what they may have learned and jealous of the attention his wife, Connie Harper (Veda Ann Borg), is paying to Steve, has them jailed, while he leads an expedition against the village and Meelah. A lost retro-jungle girl movie from the 30s!

Queen of the Amazons (1947)

The mysterious deaths continue as Lambert tries to discover who has been dealing in contraband ivory. When he solves that mystery, he also uncovers the identity of the mysterious murderer. One safari, led by Jungle Jim, wants to make sure she gets the news that she is now a rich woman. The leaders of the other safari want to kill the girl so they can try to get hold of her inheritance. An exciting retro-serial full of pith helmets, gorillas, women in trouble and cliff-hanger action! Grant Withers stars as Jungle Jim, and Henry Brandon played the villainous Cobra. Betty Jane Rhodes is the gorgeous woman on safari.

The White Gorilla (1945)

A white gorilla is snubbed by black gorillas because he is the wrong color. Cut off from his tribe he becomes lonely and angry. After troubling hunters and natives, the white gorilla fights the king of the black gorillas while we are told by a narrator that the fate of Africa hangs in the balance. The movie was made by editing some 1947 acting into footage from a 1927 silent serial, Perils of the Jungle, starring Frank Merrill the fifth screen Tarzan. A great retro-gorilla movie! Look out Bigfoot!

Bigfoot The Movie (1970)

Fast-talking Jasper B. Hawks drives through a forest with his sidekick, Elmer Briggs, while pilot Joi Landis flies a single engine small aircraft over the same area. Joi's engine conks out, so she parachutes to safety. On the ground, she encounters a Bigfoot that emerges from the woods and attacks her. Is it an escaped gorilla or is it bigfoot? A fun movie starring the Ritz Brothers, Anita Louise, Art Miles, Lionel Atwill, Bela Lugosi, and Patsy Kelly. It was based on a play of the same name by Ralph Spence.

The Legend of Bigfoot (1976)

He says that the Eskimos called the creature "bushman," the Colville Indians "Sasquatch," and the Hoopa "Om-mah," but is most commonly known as Bigfoot. Bride of the Gorilla (1951)

Deep in the South American jungle plantation manager Barney Chavez (Raymond Burr) kills his elderly employer in order to get to his beautiful wife (Barbara Payton). However, an old native witch witnesses the crime and puts a curse on Barney, who soon after finds himself turning nightly into a rampaging gorilla. But is his transformation real or is it all in his head? Watch for the Chupacabra flying critter near the end. A great retro- gorilla-bigfoot thriller with a twist! This one is in South America!

Snowbeast (1977)

Former 1968 Winter Olympics gold medal ski champion Gar Seberg (Bo Svenson) and his wife Ellen, a television presenter (Yvette Mimieux), return to his home, a ski resort in the Colorado Rockies where the faded star seeks a job using his skiing skills. As the Sebergs arrive, the town's annual winter carnival is spoiled by the disappearances of a series of vacationers, later revealed to have been brutally killed by an unknown animal. There are eyewitness accounts that the culprit is a Yeti, Bigfoot or Sasquatch, which are met with ridicule. The owner of the ski resort (Sylvia Sidney) declares that there is no such being, because she doesn't want to lose her business, and she arranges for her grandson Tony (Robert Logan) to keep the disappearances a secret. The local sheriff (Clint Walker) spreads the story that there is a lone savage bear on the loose. Tony gives Gar a job with the ski resort and confides in him about the monster. Gar's first job is to stalk and kill it. Gar keeps an open mind due to his wife's former work on a documentary about Sasquatch sightings, but is reluctant to kill it, feeling that it would be murder. He changes his mind when he sees the remains of the first victim and the monster comes to town and not only panics the population but kills the mother of the Snow Carnival Queen. A great retro-bigfoot movie made for television from the 70s!

Tailspin Tommy (1934)

Two early cargo airlines clash over a government mail contract. “Tailspin” Tommy (Maurice Murphy), a young mechanic, gets a job with Three Points Airlines, who win the contract. Their opponents resort to sabotage in order to have the contact for themselves. Wade “Tiger” Taggart (John Davidson) becomes their crazy enemy, a man who will do anything to stop the airline from doing business. Amazing airplane stunts are featured in this exciting serial. Based on a popular comic strip of the 30s. Aerial acrobatics galore!
